Some New Bitopological Notions
We introduce strong separation axioms in bitopological spaces. We also introduce the notion of strong pairwise compactness.
متن کاملA Note on Raghavan-reilly’s Pairwise Paracompactness
The bitopological unstability of RR-pairwise paracompactness in presence of pairwise Hausdorff separation axiom is caused by a bitopological property which is much weaker and more local than RR-pairwise paracompactness. We slightly generalize some Michael’s constructions and characterizeRR-pairwise paracompactness in terms of bitopological θ-regularity, and some other weaker modifications of pa...
متن کاملBitopological Representations
A class B of bitopological structures is a bitopological representation of a class C of continuous mappings of topological spaces if C coinsides with the class of all bicontinuous mappings f : (X;) ?! (X 0 ; 0) for all ; 0 2 B. The paper contains a short survey of old author's results and some new results on bitopological representations of classes of metric space mappings.
متن کاملParacompactness and Product Spaces
A topological space is called paracompact (see [2 J) if (i) it is a Hausdorff space (satisfying the T2 axiom of [l]), and (ii) every open covering of it can be refined by one which is "locally finite" ( = neighbourhood-finite; that is, every point of the space has a neighbourhood meeting only a finite number of sets of the refining covering). J. Dieudonné has proved [2, Theorem 4] that every se...
متن کاملOn 3-topological Version of Θ-regularity
We modify the concept of θ-regularity for spaces with 2 and 3 topologies. The new, more general property is fully preserved by sums and products. Using some bitopological reductions of this property, Michael’s theorem for several variants of bitopological paracompactness is proved.
